Awards
Two scholarships will be awarded:
-Two scholarships (2) of $1,000 each from Bright Ideas Press
All applicants (regardless of winning status) will also receive feedback from
at least two judges about their applications (Feedback will be tailored to how you can improve
your applications for the future) so that they can learn from this experience (be that applications for job,
school, or scholarship). A perfect learning experience!

-----Eligibility----- -- Must be a graduating High School Senior who has been homeschooled for at least 2 full years -- Will be attending a Community College, University, or Trade School in the 2018-2019 school year. Applicant need not know which school yet. -- Must submit a complete application with all parts complete with signatures, information, and attachments. Follow directions!! |

-----Timeline-----March 31st 2018 at 11:59PM CDT Scholarship Deadline. All applications must either be postmarked by this date (for mailed applications) or submitted by this date and time (if submitted online). No late applications will be accepted.
April 5th All reference forms are due by this date - these forms should be mailed or emailed by your references. May - Winners announced & Feedback sheets returned to all applicants. |

Q: How are scholarships awarded?
A: All scholarships will be awarded by our judging panel and sent to the applicants choice school in the fall of 2018. Scholarship monies can be used for all education purposes including but not limited to classes, books, room/board, etc. In the event that the winner has not decided which school they will be attending, monies will be held until the winner has come to a decision (no later than September of the 2018-2019 school year). No. You must be a graduating senior who has been homeschooled for at least two years. You must be a graduating homeschool senior. Have another question?

2017 Homeschool Community Scholars
The board of directors of Homeschoolers Helping Homeschoolers is pleased to announce the winners of our 2017 scholarship contest. Thanks to our generous sponsors at Bright Ideas Press, we were able to award a total of $2500 to three outstanding homeschool graduates:

We are very optimistic for the futures of not only our winners but also many of our other applicants.
